Story Saturday: A New Alphabet for Humanity

Hello friends! Today I am thrilled to start Kids Philanthropy Project’s Story Saturday, reading one of my favorite books “A New Alphabet for Humanity!”

In a world where values are more important than ever, "A New Alphabet for Humanity" takes a creative approach to teaching kiddos the fundamentals of being compassionate and responsible global citizens. Each letter of the alphabet represents a powerful concept, from A for Abundance to Z for Zen, encouraging young minds (and older minds, too!) to embrace these values and incorporate them into their daily lives.

We all know that kiddos absorb information and behaviors from their surroundings like sponges. By introducing them to positive values at an early age, we can help shape a future generation that is empathetic, kind, and proactive in making the world a better place. This book is more than just an educational tool, it's a foundation for lifelong learning and personal growth, perfectly aligned with the mission of the Kids Philanthropy Project!

Making the most of this Story Saturday…

  1. Watch it together: Make it a family activity. Watch the video together and discuss each letter and its corresponding value.

  2. Ask questions: Pause the video after each letter to talk about real-life examples of these values. Ask your children how they can practice these values in their daily lives.

  3. Create projects: Encourage your kids to create projects or drawings that represent each value. This can be a fun and engaging way to reinforce what they've learned.

  4. Model behavior: Children learn best by example. Show them how you incorporate these values into your own life.

I'd love to hear how you and your family are incorporating these values into your lives. Share your stories and ideas in the comments below or tag KPP on Instagram @kids.philanthropy
